drivingDirection Directions to Jellystone Park™ at Lake Monroe Our campground is located in the rolling hills of southern Indiana off Hwy 37. Here are average drive times from various cities and points of interest: Bedford: 10 minutes Bloomington (downtown & Indiana University): 15 minutes Bloomington Speedway: 7 minutes Indianapolis: 1 hour from the southside Lake Monroe: 3 minutes Louisville: 1 hour from the northside Nashville, Indiana: 30 minutes IN 37 South from Bloomington: Turn right on the Monroe Res/Harrodsburg Exit off Hwy 37. Yield right onto E. Monroe Dam Rd. At the T, turn left onto Strain Ridge Road. After .5 miles, take the first road on your left which is Strain Ridge Rd (if you reach the Dam you have gone too far). Jellystone Park Lake Monroe is on your left. If you pass Eagle Point Golf Resort, you have gone too far. IN 37 North from Bedford: Take ramp toward Monroe Res/Harrodsburg Exit. Stay straight to go onto Strain Ridge Rd. After .5 miles, take the first road on your left which is Strain Ridge Rd. Continue on Strain Ridge for .5 miles and Jellystone Park Lake Monroe is on your left.

Access is easy with a total of 9 boat ramps. Our campground is closest to Fairfax SRA and Salt Creek SRA, both at the southwest corner of Lake Monroe. The area east of the SR 446 causeway is set aside as an idle zone, so it is perfect for canoeing, kayaking and fishing. Kids Pool and Splash Area This shallow pool is great for little ones. There is a mushroom that dumps water and a hippo that sprays water from his mouth. Parents can relax on a lounge chair while the kids splash around. Jumping Pillow Kids could spend all day jumping on our big, inflatable pillow. Adults don't usually last quite as long, but it’s good exercise for them, too! Jumping pillow is open limited hours. Check our Activity Board for updated times. Train Take a fun ride around the campground on our bright red train. Be sure to wave to all of your friends and family who are watching you go by. Cartoon Cafe Feeling Hungry?
