Directions to Jellystone Park™ at Lake Monroe Our campground is located in the rolling hills of southern Indiana off Hwy 37. Here are average drive times from various cities and points of interest: Bedford: 10 minutes Bloomington (downtown & Indiana University): 15 minutes Bloomington Speedway: 7 minutes Indianapolis: 1 hour from the southside Lake Monroe: 3 minutes Louisville: 1 hour from the northside Nashville, Indiana: 30 minutes IN 37 South from Bloomington: Turn right on the Monroe Res/Harrodsburg Exit off Hwy 37. Yield right onto E. Monroe Dam Rd. At the T, turn left onto Strain Ridge Road. After .5 miles, take the first road on your left which is Strain Ridge Rd (if you reach the Dam you have gone too far). Jellystone Park Lake Monroe is on your left. If you pass Eagle Point Golf Resort, you have gone too far. IN 37 North from Bedford: Take ramp toward Monroe Res/Harrodsburg Exit. Stay straight to go onto Strain Ridge Rd. After .5 miles, take the first road on your left which is Strain Ridge Rd. Continue on Strain Ridge for .5 miles and Jellystone Park Lake Monroe is on your left. |

Ranger Station Camp Store - Recently expanded and now offering exciting new merchandise and grocery items! Visit our Ranger Station for all of your camping needs. Our friendly staff is waiting to assist you. Whether you are looking for the perfect Yogi Bear™ souvenir, the fixings for S’Mores or an RV accessory, we do our best to have it in stock and ready for you! Laundry We have a modern laundry area located in our Ranger Station for the convenience of our guests. You may even find Yogi washing his spare tie. Free WiFi Free WiFi is available throughout Jellystone Park™ at Lake Monroe so you can remain connected as much or as little as you would like while on vacation. Showers Showers and rest room facilities are conveniently located in the Ranger Station. |

Lake Monroe Lake Monroe is just a few minutes away from Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park™ campground. With 10,750 acres, Lake Monroe is Indiana’s largest lake. Access is easy with a total of 9 boat ramps. Our campground is closest to Fairfax SRA and Salt Creek SRA, both at the southwest corner of Lake Monroe. The area east of the SR 446 causeway is set aside as an idle zone, so it is perfect for canoeing, kayaking and fishing. The largest area of the lake, west of the SR 446 causeway, is ideal for power boaters. Fourwinds Resort and Marina Located on the shores of picturesque Lake Monroe, Fourwinds Resort and Marina is the perfect destination for a fun-filled vacation, meeting, or event! Indiana University Bloomington is home to Indiana University which has one of the most beautiful college campuses in the country. You can take a tour of the campus, or attend one of a host of music and arts performances including theater, ballet and opera. Downtown Bloomington In downtown Bloomington you’ll find unique shopping, live music, and restaurants. In fact, Orbitz Travel Research named Bloomington, “The 7th fastest growing destination in the nation for wine and culinary enthusiasts.” There are several art galleries in Bloomington, and numerous restaurants offering a variety of cuisine from Thai to Greek to American, to name a few. Indianapolis Jellystone Park at Lake Monroe is one hour south of Indianapolis. If you would like to make a day trip to Indy, you will find something there for everyone in your family including the Children's Museum, the Planetarium, art galleries, great shopping and restaurants, and the Zoo. The Indianapolis Motor Speedway, home of the world famous Indy 500 is here. And don't forget a tour of Lucas Oil Stadium, home of the Colts. Bloomington Speedway Bloomington Speedway is a short course race track for Sprint Cars, Modified, and Super Stocks. It is a 1/4 mile, semi-high banked clay oval track. Their schedule runs from April through November. |

Waterzone Our multi-level play structure is packed with interactive features that allow you and your family to splash and play for hours. Outdoor Pool For those wanting to cool off or soak up some rays, this is one of the most popular places to be for adults and kids alike on a hot, summer day. Kids Pool and Splash Area This shallow pool is great for little ones. There is a mushroom that dumps water and a hippo that sprays water from his mouth. Parents can relax on a lounge chair while the kids splash around. Jumping Pillow Kids could spend all day jumping on our big, inflatable pillow. Adults don't usually last quite as long, but it’s good exercise for them, too! Jumping pillow is open limited hours. Check our Activity Board for updated times. Train Take a fun ride around the campground on our bright red train. Be sure to wave to all of your friends and family who are watching you go by. Cartoon Cafe Feeling Hungry? Come check out our new Cartoon Cafe! We sell pizza, hand-dipped ice-cream, slushies, candy, chips, coffee and more! Gem Mining Sluice Buy a bag of "dirt" and then mine for gold at our Gem Mining Sluice. You will have the fun of discovering what is hiding in there. Playground Let your kids burn off some of their excess energy climbing all over our colorful playground.
